The Indian Palmistry & Narad Sanhita in addition to the Veds & Purans illustrate the presence of various signs and marks over the palm which some times prove to be extremely important since they become more significant as compared to rest of the characters.
(1). Chhatr-Umbrella-Canopy :: This sign is associated with the grant of kingdom-empire in addition to spirituality. It may be found over the palms of Yogis-relinquished-detached as well.
(2). Dhwaj-Flag-Pataka :: This sign is seen on the palms of great warriors, charioteers, people of impeccable character. One is mighty, courageous capable of winning the battle and bending people to his feet. He is capable of carrying out extremely difficult tasks.

हथेली पर चिन्ह ::
अँगुलियों में छिद्र :: हाथों की उंगुलियाँ सरलता से मिलने पर जिसके हाथ में छिद्र नहीं रहता तो वह वह व्यक्ति अत्यंत भाग्यवान एवं सुखी होता है। छिद्रवान हाथ दरिद्रता का उपकारक है।

हथेली का रंग :: हाथ की हथेली के रंग लाल होने पर व्यक्ति धनी होता है। पीत वर्ण होने पर धन की कमी होती है। यदि कराग्र भाग नीलवर्ण हो तो मद्यसेवी एवं दुखी जातक होता है। जिसके हाथ का मध्य भाग उन्नत हो तो वह परोपकारी होता है। करतल का मध्य भाग निम्न होने पर व्यक्ति पितृ धन से हीन होता है।

स्वास्तिक :- स्वास्तिक चिन्ह वाला व्यक्ति धनी, प्रतिष्ठित, धार्मिक यात्राएं करने वाला एवं वैभव सम्पन्न होता है।
